Grandma's Sweater
At Grandma's house, everything is allowed and there's always extra food. But that Sunday, Grandma Sandy had a different surprise: a package tied with a ribbon.

Inside was a wool sweater she had knitted all by herself, stitch by stitch, for a whole week. It was green, orange and purple, with a bone on the front... a little crooked.
Ice looked at the sweater. Him, the beauty champion, in a crooked sweater? His nose was about to scrunch into a frown.
Up on the chandelier, Gattuso tried not to laugh. Jubs whispered: "Ugh... she spent the whole week making that."

Ice looked at Grandma again. She had a bandage on her finger from so much knitting. And she was waiting, hands together, full of hope.
So Ice stepped into the sweater, spun around and struck the best pose of his career. Then he rested his head on Grandma's lap: that was his way of saying thank you.
Grandma laughed so much that Grandpa Zelio came to see what was going on. And Ice spent the whole afternoon in his sweater, strutting around the living room like it was the contest runway.
Today the crooked sweater lives in the most special drawer in the house. Because a gift made with love is never crooked: it's one of a kind.
